This will be a vigorous hike using several trails in the Hacienda Hills and will take about three hours. Learn about the the many plant varieties in the reserve from from docent Bruce Everett. Bruce has been photographing the foliage in the hills for many years and produced calendars containing the flowers. If you ever wanted to know the names of the various trees, plants and flowers that are native to the Puente Hills.. this is the hike for you. We will meet at the Hacienda Trailhead parking lot at 9 a.m. sharp.
Please remember to bring plenty of water. In the event of rain, check the Habitat Authority website to ensure the trails are open (https://www.habitatauthority.org) .
If so, the hike will take place.
